Harvesting Souls for Christ is a Non-Denominational Church with an Apostolic anointing. Sunday Service begins at 11:15 am. We would like to invite you to join us and hope you and your family have a warm, spirit-filled experience where we can worship and fellowship together.
Born May 3, 1964 in Gary, Indiana. He was raised in a Christian home. At an early age became a born again believer. He became one of the lead singers of a gospel quartet that he joined along with his two older brothers, they were already apart of the group. His two older brothers were guitarist. The oldest brother Leonard Brown played the lead guitar, and Larry Brown played the bass guitar. The quartet performed at many churches that were in the Chicago area, and near by cities. They were called “The Traveling Kings”. Later his family relocated to Los Angeles, CA. and became members of “Crusaders Temple”. There he served in the music department as a Bass guitarist. Pastor Brown got married to his high school sweet heart Cynthia D. Roberson on December 24,1982. They had two wonderful children; Darrell Brown Jr. and Tasha Brown. Later The family became members of “Living Water Christian Fellowship” in Compton, CA. under the leadership of Pastor Governor L. McDonald Jr. There he served as a Deacon and his wife served as an Evangelist. After working diligently for ten years, wanting a change in 2006 He decided to sale their home, while the market was still good, and moved to Grand Prairie, TX. Where his parents and several other family members had already moved to. In 2007 they became members of “Harvesting Souls For Christ Ministries Intl.” under the leadership of Apostle Brenda Hunter and her husband Deacon Charles A. Hunter Located in Temple,TX. It was January 2008 he became the Pastor of “Harvesting Souls For Christ Ministry”, which is currently located in Arlington, TX. Where he is the Pastor today. He is presently pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Theology.
Born : October 6, 1964 in Lake Charles Louisiana, shortly after being born her parents moved to Compton, CA. They were Catholic, as a child growing up she went to Catholic schools. In her senior year of high school, she was invited to a revival at “Crusaders Temple” C.O.G.I.C. Located in LosAngeles,CA., and received the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues,It was no doubt she had a genuine encounter with God, Because she had been Catholic all her life. From then on she began to fellowship at Crusaders Temple along with her high school sweet heart, and soon to be husband Darrell, this was his Family’s church. After one year, Darrell E. Brown and Cynthia D. Roberson married on December 24, 1982. They had two children, Darrell Brown Jr. and Tasha Brown. She began serving as an Evangelist June 6, 1999 under the Leadership of Pastor Governor L. McDonald Jr. and his wife, Prophetess Janice McDonald at “Living Water Christian Fellowship” in Compton, CA. There she was an Evangelist in charge of The “Evangelistic Team”, she also was a “Sunday School Teacher”, and worked as the “church clerk”. Because of her dedication to the ministry, and Love for people, many people were converted. After ten years of being faithful to the ministry, She, her husband, and daughter decided to move to Grand Prairie,TX. Her mother had passed away after a battle with cancer, and most of her relatives Lived in Texas or near Texas, so while the real estate market was still good , they sold their house, and moved to Grand Prairie, Tx. In 2007 they became members of “Harvesting Souls For Christ Ministries Intl., Located in Temple, Tx. Under Apostle Brenda Hunter, and her husband Deacon Charles A. Hunter. In January of 2008, Prophetess Cynthia D. Brown became the 1st Lady of “Harvesting Souls For Christ Ministry” along with her husband, who became the Senior Pastor. She also own and operate a in-home daycare, licensed by the state of Texas. She and her husband also were foster parents for five years, and helped over twenty kids that needed a home.
